Skiing with friends

Jon and Nolan come up every few weeks to ski!

Gabriella comes to the farm - February 12 - 14, 2011

Gabriella was able to schedule a trip to the U.S. and Burlington and fit a ski weekend in with us at the farm! Gabriella taught Bruce how to make Schintzel and Kayspetzl, I am forever indebted! We ate and drank and talked and then skiied a bit on Saturday, and then we ate and drank and talked some more.

Gabriella was mesmerized by the view! This is at the end of street by the Chalet.

Watson's part 2

The Watson's only ended up staying one night over New Years! Well that just isn't enough. Luckily we found a weekend in February where they could squeeze in a dinner and a day of skiing!

Ah, fondue! Our favorite dinner together!

I wonder how this will all turn out? Hmmm...

 Next year Whistler!

Shannon's first boy/girl party

Anna Foley had her 13th birthday party at Swansea Town Hall. She and her cousin Zack each invited 20 friends and they had a dance. Don't worry Shannon didn't dance with any boys! Originally Shannon thought it was going to be dressier than it was. We bought her a beautiful dress and then she came home from school the day of the party in a panic. She ended up borrowing a top of mine! And yes we made her pose for pictures, of course we did!

Jody and the girls come to the farm for the weekend

It was a crazy weekend! There were two $110 tickets for failing to stop! There was one little shadow! 2 girls had a love/hate relationship, and barely made it through! There was a ton of wine consumed! Overall fun was had by all!

Stella never left Shannon's side. We called her, her shadow!

Paris

Paris is Olivia's hamster! She was her gift for her 10th birthday, that and getting her ears pierced. She should have been named Houdini! Or maybe Olivia's Indian name is 'Girl who can't close the cage properly' We've found Paris in the cold air return, in the speaker under the desk. I've never seen that hamster move faster than the time Olivia and I found her at the top of the stairs to the basement. She was not ready to get back in the cage.
Paris pulls her pooh out of her butt and throws it at you! Oh yes she does! Everytime you kiss her, she pops you in the face with her paw.
We love our little Paris!
